Matex partners Asia Dyestuff Industry Federation (ADIF) as a key contributor on 8th Nov 2019
Nov. 8, 2019

Asia Dyestuff Industry Federation (ADIF) represents dyestuff associations and manufacturers across the continent, which accounts for 80 per cent of worldwide dyestuff production capacity.  In the present context of an apparent shift of the power-centre of the colorant manufacturing and consumer segments towards Asia, ADIF was conceived to represent and promote the interests of dyestuffs and colorant industry in this part of the world. Its headquarters would be in Beijing and only branch office in India functioning from DMAI Secretariat. The federation will work towards the development of the Asian colorant industry by promoting communication and exchange information among its members. Through sustained bilateral and multilateral cooperation as well as for holding seminars, and exhibitions between different members, the federation aims to create opportunities and conditions conducive for the development of the Asian colorant industry.

ADIF has also joined ZDHC as a contributor. The new collaboration is expected to significantly accelerate sustainable chemical management uptake across the Asian region and will centre on a standardised way to manage input chemistry in the textile and leather sectors and to reinforce the importance of harmonised tools and implementation approaches on sustainable chemical management across the supply chains. Other key aspects of the collaboration will include awareness raising and knowledge exchange, as well as innovation and best practice showcases from the dyestuff producers in Asia.

Matex International Limited headquartered in Singapore, is thus excited to be a part of this growing family and meaningful initiative, as a leading Global Brand with Asian roots itself.
