According to our best current state of knowledge, unless otherwise stated we confirm that our products are in compliance with REACH, the European Union’s regulation covering the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals where the products of our core product range do not contain any substances mentioned in the current SVHC - List of 17/12/2014 with a concentration above 0.1 % weight by weight (w/w) as intentionally added recipe components.
The new European chemicals policy (REACH) entered into force in June 2007.
The first important step is the preregistration. All chemical substances (= substances affected by REACH) that must be registered have to be preregistered in the period 1 June - 1 December 2008. The preregistration is a prerequisite for taking advantage of the transitional periods until the final chemicals registration. Depending on the production volume of the ingredients of our products, the registration will be effected between 2010 and 2018. The registration requires to exchange information regarding exposures and risks.
ECHA has included 6 new substances in the Candidate List on 2014/12/17 and updated an existing entry for bis(2-ethylhexyl) phthalate (DEHP) due to its probable additional serious effects to the environment.
The current Candidate List for SVHC - Substances (Substances of Very High Concern) contains now overall 161 substances and you will find it under the following link:
