In 2004, Matex introduced an integrated management system (IMS) to combine all related components of our business into one system for easier management and operations. The ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 Integrated Management Systems – enabled us to implement a wholistic occupational health and safety, environment and quality management system consolidating our previous efforts.

Our Environmental Management System according to the international standard ISO 14001 allows our stringent internal reporting and control of relevant environmental data (Water consumption in m3/t product, Energy consumption in kWh/t product, etc…) which is in addition to high quality standards, environmental protection, safety and ecological product require¬ments which are integral key components of our company policies.

When developing, producing and applying products, it also includes the economical use of resources, such as energy, water, raw materials and the lowest possible environmental pollution due to effluent, air emissions and waste. For implementing these aims, we would target to advise our customers in detail how to best use our products in an environmentally friendly way to the best effect possible.

Further our products are frequently tested and certified by various independent testing and certification bodies and system such as ISO, the American Association of Textile Chemists and Colorists (“AATCC”) and the Ecological and Toxicological Association of Dyes and Organic Pigments Manufacturers (“ETAD”). Some of these other organizations include:

  • Testex AG;
  • SGS Testing & Control Services;
  • Merchandise Testing Laboratories; and
  • Intertek Testing Services
  • Bureau Veritas
  • GIC Testing & Inspection Services
