For this year 2021, The Dr and Mrs Alex Tan Pang Kee Gold Medal for PhD in Chemistry was awarded to Dr Wang Zhimin, the 2021 most outstanding graduating PhD student in Chemistry and Biological Chemistry.

The award hopes to inspire many others and challenge the next generation of young scientist to solve real world issues as well as to encourage them in their development of useful, innovative, sustainable and eco-friendly technological solutions for our future.
