Matex is one of the 75 companies and organization that made the pledge to Low Formaldehyde Commitment Statement.
This program on “Sustainable Spaces - Low Formaldehyde Commitment” is being raise by Alliance for Action (AfA), which was form by the Singapore Business Federation (SBF), Singapore Furniture Industries Council (SFIC) and Singapore Green Building Council (SGBC) since November last year.
Deputy Prime Minister and Coordinating Minister for Economic Policies Heng Swee Keat, together with key AfA officials, visited GUSH which is also one of the 75 companies and organization that made the pledge to Low Formaldehyde Commitment Statement.
The main aim of the AfA and this commitment pledge is to rally the industry to start thinking about indoor air quality and amplify industry efforts to ensure low formaldehyde emissions indoors. Just as important, it aims to take small steps in getting more industry players onboard the sustainability journey and thus normalising the demand for more sustainable products.
