Matex is an avid patron of the Singapore Badminton Association (SBA). Together, the association has been working tirelessly to promote the sport of badminton in Singapore. Over the years, it has witnessed exceptional growth and incredible performances. The dedication of numerous athletes, coaches and enthusiasts have been instrumental to the sports success over the years.

This year at the SBA Annual Dinner 2024, it was a special occasion where we all came together to recognize and honour these achievements. Further to that, SBA took back the former badminton hall premises located at Guillemard Road, formerly known as the Singapore Badminton Hall.

The place holds a rich history as a pivotal venue for badminton in Singapore. It has played a significant role in the development of the sport and has been a centre for training, competitions, and nurturing local badminton talents. SBA hopes to restore its past glories! SBA is looking forward to refurbish the hall, which it envisions as the future Home of Singapore Badminton.

It is done with the aspiration to make it an iconic place for Singaporeans to gather for fitness and fun and a hub of inspiration for aspiring athletes.
