Matex joined the Environmental Management Association of Singapore (EMAS) @ Interclean Amsterdam which was held from 14 to 17 May 2024. An esteemed delegation Singapore team was led by our Senior Parliamentary Secretary, Mr Baey Yam Keng (Ministry of Sustainability and Environment, Singapore)

The key objectives of this year’s trip was to provide a key platform for Singapore companies to explore the latest equipment, technologies in the cleaning industries, so as to increase productivity and enhance the level of cleanliness in Singapore as part of this year’s emphasis on public hygiene.

Some highlights from Day 1, include booth visits and product demonstrations from Metabots, LionsBot International, Karacher B.V and Diversey. A further workshop on day 2 was organised by Real Estate and Construction Academy on “Social Sustainability in Cleaning Practices”, and “Outcome-Based Cleaning” initiatives were revisited.
